Wolsingham School and Community
College, situated in picturesque Weardale, has a long and proud history.
Established in 1614, our school has its roots in the communities it
serves. We are a good and successful school and are proud of our
specialist status as a Performing Arts College (Drama and Dance), with a
Rural Dimension. It is our aim to pursue the highest academic standards
through a broad curriculum and through a supportive pastoral care and
house system. We strive to ensure that every student realises his or her
